Please note - because of requests from several team captains, we will NOT be enforcing the contrasting-color glove rule at the 2008 BaA. Please do ensure that your glove will not be readily confused for a referees glove (yellow or orange). Also, please consider this your advance warning for next year, as we will be enforcing this rule in the future.
Please send us your banquet head-counts if you have not done so already. We need to provide total head-count information to the Holiday Inn ahead of time to ensure that there will be food for everyone! See latest banquet info in the banquet section below.
Check-in for ALL TEAMS will be from 7:00pm to 8:00pm in the Holiday Inn Lobby. Please send at least one representative from your team to the check-in table during this time to complete paperwork and pay all USOA dues (Don't forget that dues have increased, effective for 2008!). Plan ahead, as you will need signatures from all your team members in order to complete the check-in process... If your team is unable to send a representative or complete the paperwork, please take responsibility for making other arrangements with us so that your team will be able to play on Saturday.
Captains meeting will be at the pool, 11:00am sharp on Saturday, January 5th. Please send at least one representative from you team, as we will have a few brief but important points to mention.

We will hold banquet at the Holiday Inn hotel on Sunday, January 6th. There will be a cash bar from 5:00pm to 10:00pm, and food will be served at 5:30pm. Cost is $20 per person with early registration and payment by Friday, January 4th and $28 per person if paid thereafter. The menu will feature: Caesar salad, steamed vegetable, garlic bread, choice of veggie lasagne or chicken picatta, and desert. We need an accurate headcount for the banquet in advance, so please let us know how many banquet tickets your team will need BEFORE you arrive! Note the substantial discount for purchasing your banquet ticket on or before the 4th. Oh, and there WILL be a dance floor and music!
The Aurora Central Pool is flat (actually gently sloping) and shallow, 25yards by 6 lanes, with a fast, small-tile bottom. The dive well will be available for warm-up and spectating. We will use in-water subbing.
It's Colorado in January, folks... the Camp-O-Rama will be a SKI-O-RAMA! Bring your skis, snowboards, ski-boards, telemarks, etc. Day trips to Loveland Ski area (about an hour from Denver) and overnight trips to the larger resorts (several within 2 hours of Denver) will be available, depending on the level of interest. Some tournament attendees will be in town as early as Thursday, January 3rd for skiing and snowboarding before the tournament.
We are going to have some VERY cool custom-made awards for the winners, as usual. Might even rustle up something nice for second and third places...
